- How quickly can MiTek Cloud be deployed? Deployment can be as fast as immediate, giving you instant access, or paced more gradually to ensure your environment is the right fit. The timeline ultimately depends on your specific needs and existing systems.
- What can I expect during the transition to MiTek Cloud? The transition includes a brief setup process to migrate your data and configure your cloud environment, managed by the MiTek CX Cloud team to ensure minimal disruption to your operations.
- How frequently are updates performed, and who is responsible for managing these? Are they communicated in advance? The MiTek CX Cloud team manages updates, which happen twice a year. We will notify you a few weeks in advance about any updates or upgrades and typically schedule them on weekends to minimize disruptions.
- How is my data backed up on the MiTek Cloud? All customer data is backed up both locally and through geodiversity technologies, ensuring high availability in the event of catastrophic events.
- Where is my data stored on the MiTek Cloud? Your data is securely isolated within MiTek’s Microsoft Azure tenant, with access strictly limited to users within your organization. Data is primarily stored in Virginia and Arizona, USA. If you utilize services in Vietnam, your data will also be replicated to secure locations in Singapore.
- What happens if I lose my internet connection? Once your connection is restored, your session will automatically resume from where you left off.
- What is the cost structure for MiTek Cloud? MiTek Cloud follows a subscription-based model, providing predictable costs compared to fluctuating on-premises IT expenses. Contact your MiTek Sales Representative for details.
- Can I access my data whenever I need? Yes. Contact your MiTek Sales Representative for assistance.
- What improvements can we expect in 3D visualizations? The new platform shows improved clarity in 3D visualization and model rendering compared to previous versions.
- Can I still use multiple screens? Yes. Once you set up multiple screen locations, they are stored and available at each login.
